Women’s Legal Service (WLS) have launched “stronger than you know” activewear to empower women while raising much needed funds for their service.

WLS provides free frontline legal help and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence- assisting more than 11,000 women and with them, 17,000 children each year.

Their brand-new tees feature the phrase “stronger than you know” which was inspired by the strength and resilience of WLS clients.

WLS Queensland Fundraising Manager, Natalie Davidson, loves the powerful message that the tagline conveys.

“The message has so many meanings. Because it is activewear, it can mean getting physically strong, however it can apply to anyone who is dealing with or experienced challenges,” Natalie said.

“We love the powerful message and have had great feedback. It has been fantastic to see so many women across Australia come on board and share photos on Instagram.”

WLS volunteers and domestic violence survivors came together for a ‘stronger than you know’ photo session. Former WLS Queensland client, Hana Nataprawira, featured in the session and is proud to support the campaign.

“I want everyone living with violence to know they’re not alone. You are stronger than you know. There is so much support out there from organisations like Women’s Legal Service,“ said Ms Nataprawira.

WLS have just released a grey version of the popular tee, which complements the black and white range. They also have exciting plans to bring in a new product that will be revealed soon!
