"The generation before us would go to work and get the job done. It was a traditional man goes to work and woman stays at home and raises the children mentality.
"Our generation hasn't had to live through anything tough such as wars or depression where things are scarce. [This is why] we are more likely to take risks rather then conform.
"Our generation is challenging the traditional ways."
It is with this belief that Kaylene wants to reach young adults between 18-35 years old with her entrepreneurial minded workshop, What The Hell Am I Doing.
With a goal to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship, the interactive workshop is a great opportunity for young adults to gain knowledge on what it really takes to take action.
It's a practical five hours with real advice and support to turn a passion into a business.
"It's okay to sit down and ask yourself, "What am I passion about?" You need to identify what excites you."
"We are going to help attendees identify what a business model is and how they should talk to potential investors, clients and buyers. They will learn how to pitch and sell as well as how to be organised and run the backend of a business."
"Instead of being told what you need, we will show you how to do it," she said.
"Life is too short to not do what you love. You spend so much time in a working environment so it's up to you to break the mould."
The What The Hell Am I Doing Workshop will have a focus on applying knowledge and empowering people to be excellent in their field.
