July's Must See Films

Written by

The Lone Ranger was a masked ex-Texas Ranger who fought injustice in the American Old West, alongside his Native American companion, Tonto. The series and the pair become an enduring icon of American culture during their prime time reign, and to a certain extent they still are.

The film is portrayed through new eyes. As Tonto the Native American warrior recounts the untold tales that transformed a man of the law, into the Lone Ranger, a legend of justice. A story fueled with action, humor and adventure. These unlikely partners must see past their differences and work together, in an attempt to fight against greed and corruption.

The cast to this well anticipated film is lead by Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. However it isn't complete without Ruth Wilson, William Fichtner, James Badge Dale, Helena Bonham Carter and Tom Wilkinson. The Lone Ranger is directed by Gore Verbinski.

This is the End

Well, if you're a lover of cameos like me. This is the End, is undoubtedly the funny film you've been waiting for.

With a really clever take on the whole "party like there's no tomorrow" mentality. The film is initially set at a Hollywood party, hosted by James Franco. Now, each celebrity in the film, plays themselves. During the party the apocalypse (or at least the beginning of) happens. Celebrities should never have to face a situation of survival, well at least that's what the actions of those surviving depict.

The cast is HUGE, and I'll only drop a few names that have pieced this film together. Lead by James Franco, Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Jay Baruchel and Danny McBride. They're supported by, Rihanna, Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, Mindy Kaling and many more! Like I said, everyone plays themselves. Directed by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg.

The lifestyles of the rich and the famous isn't for everyone. Even some of the ones who wanted it, and got it don't seem to enjoy it, they're always complaining. Despite poundings from the tabloids, and constant harassment by the paparazzi; we're curious to know what it's like to be recognised wherever you go, and what it's like to go to the A-list parties.

For this group of teenagers they naturally did too. However, they've taken their obsession with fame and fortune a bit too far. With the internet at their fingers, they start finding celebrity's homes, and they start robbing them. In order to look the part, and rub shoulders with the rich and famous.

The young and very talented cast consists of Emma Watson, Katie Chang, Israel Broussard, Claire Julien, Taissa Farmiga and Georgia Rock. Directed by Sophia Coppola.
