“SANS PEUR WORKSHOP targets the fashion conscious woman, who is not focused on main stream fashion but rather is on the lookout for something "special" that is not easily available online or in main stream boutiques.“
“The concept was born out of our enthusiasm for making women look effortlessly beautiful and assisting them in finding their own, unique voice in their expression of fashion and attitude.”
After working in the South African fashion industry as a model from a young age Kelly says her friends have always turned to her for style advice, which triggered a dream to one day open her own retail store.
“Women loved the way I threw an outfit together by mixing designer pieces with high street style and big names with up and coming designers.
“With my children all grown up and the relocation to Brisbane. Australia, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to turn my dream into reality and open SANS PEUR WORKSHOP”.
The Sutherland family left their homeland of South Africa after a life changing experience and decided to settle in Brisbane, Australia.
“The name SANS PEUR WORKSHOP sprung from our family name Sutherland and the clan crest motto is SANS PEUR meaning, Without Fear.”
Without fear the students from Australian Institute of Create Design developed a photoshoot for Fashion Weekly as an assignment which featured unique pieces from Sans Peur Workshop. A creative collaboration showing that it is simple to be effortlessly chic.
