Vogue Australia Hosts Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Spring Event

We asked Phillipa Brophy a few important questions about the season ahead.

FW: What is your favourite trend for spring summer 2014.

PB: I would have to say 'print-on-print'. I know I don't look like a girl who would wear print-on-print, but I love the fearless attitude of women who do wear it. They strike me as [being] the most comfortable with themselves and [who] really like to shine and use fashion as a way to express themselves.

FW: Favourite designers in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre?

PB: I love Zimmerman for their laid back Australian style. They really understand how Australian women want to dress.

I would also have to say Armani. There is something in that store for every age and I know people kind of stereotype it to being an 'older women's' brand but there are really beautiful tailored pieces that you could buy and literally wear in twenty years.

FW: What is the key colour of the season?

PB: It has to be pink.

FW: What is on your wish list right now that can be purchased at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre?

PB: It would have to be the black Carla Zampatti gown just to wear at home, just to feel like a princess! (she laughs)

Fashion Weekly Magazine would like to thank Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Vogue Australia, Philipa Brophy and Nantucket Kitchen and Bar for a lovely evening of everything fashion and style.
