After having a hiatus in 2016, MBFF is back for 2017 and is set to be bigger than ever. Commencing on Sunday the 27th of August to Thursday the 31st of August, the festival will be hosted at Old Government House.
The Festival Director, Lindsay Bennett, has stated that MBFF will celebrate Queensland and Australian designers through runway shows and other audience favourites.
“We are absolutely delighted to announce the return of this premier Spring/Summer fashion showcase to Queensland. The 2017 MBFF will be unique to previous years, as we present a refined program that will nonetheless shine a national spotlight on Queensland’s talented fashion industry,” said Bennett.
Once again partnering with Mercedes-Benz Cars Australia/Pacific, CEO and Managing Director, Horst van Sanden stated that they’re happy to be highlighting Queensland’s fashion industry.
“Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is a fantastic platform for the Queensland fashion industry and we are proud to renew our association with this highly anticipated and reputable event. We look forward to once again partnering with the Fashion Festival and helping to drive fashion retail for Queensland,” Mr von Sanden said.
