Brisbane's 17-year-old schoolgirl Brook Crompton has been chosen to front Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane's 10th Anniversary campaign.
Little did she know that a two day booking would see her as the cover girl for this iconic week.
To mark the milestone, Festival organisers shot Brook showcasing an outfit from 10 local designers across 10 Brisbane City locations.
Now the grade 12 St Margaret’s high school student can be seen featuring in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival’s wide-reaching promotional campaign with ten different backdrops that tick off many iconic locations; including the Story Bridge at twilight wearing a one-off Easton Pearson garment, to strutting the forecourt of the Powerhouse in sultry Tengdahl and in a glamorous Jack Sullivan gown at the Kangaroo Point cliffs.
“It was such a fantastic two days, with so many different places and I got to see so many wonderful clothes from different designers,” Brook said.
“I am so excited to be in this campaign, it’s the biggest in my career so far,” she said.
Brook said one of her favourite outfits was the beautiful mint-green gown from Paul Hunt that was photographed at Old Government House and is now the picture Festival goers will see when they pick up a program.
This stunner has also been chosen to walk the catwalk for four group shows at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival.
She is young and talented and this is quite the career leap. We can't wait to see her strut down the runway.
Fashion Weekly will be keeping you up-to-date during and in the lead up to MBFF. So stay tuned so you don't miss a beat!
