Kylie Eustace, founder of Kylie's Professional loves the glamour, excitement and challenge of creating makeup looks for the runway shows.
"The trick each year is coming up with trending makeup looks for the parades that are not too complicated or difficult to change in a limited time and that are as compatible as possible with the many designer's diverse styles," said Kylie Eustace.
This year featured a wide range of designer categories from lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, ready-to-wear and evening and couture.
"[We had] a super short 15-30 minute intermission ... only allowed for a fairly simple makeup change [but I] bumped up my team to 20 artists to ensure a more suitable look on the 41 models could be comfortably completed. Two major looks were applied, with a third, lipstick-only change to finish the show," she said.
The first makeup style created by Kylie was soft, light and fresh for swimwear and sportswear with a mesmerising, 'wow factor'. Bright Tropical Orange lips From Kylie's Xtreme Runway range dominated the look with a shimmery white eyeshadow and illuminated cheekbones in Rose Gold.
She said, "The look gave an overall cheeky, playful and youthful feel."
The ready to wear and couture makeup look took on a more sultry, evening feel with a modern smouldering smoky eye, displaying softly blended edges with a touch of metallic rusty-gold eyeshadow. A subtle Mineral Goddess natural lip shade, 'Bare' completed the versatile look.
"With the very short time frame available and the dramatic change this made the second look especially challenging. A more striking, deep raspberry lip was the only change [we] made for the final designer, Ta pa," said Kylie.
The team of 20 makeup Artists created magic backstage and also in the VIP makeup area where beautiful makeovers using Kylie's Mineral Goddess products took place.
Kylie said, "For [me] the event was especially satisfying this year with an even bigger team than usual. [I was] given the opportunity to share the unique experience of a large fashion event and see so many amazingly talented artists shine under, at times crazy pressure! The teams effort of all involved made for a brilliant day."
