The $450 million expansion and redevelopment has catapulted the Centre to the top of the Brisbane retail sector and Centre Manager Leah Mienert said having big-name retailers establish themselves in the Centre was a sign of its success.
"America's oldest retailer, Brooks Brothers, recently opened its first Queensland store at Indooroopilly, as did Australian menswear specialist, Déclic, urbane retailer from Melbourne, Mr Simple, children's store Kidstuff and LouenHide, which opened its first flagship store in the state," she said.
"We are finalising the last available spaces now and have one or two surprises that are yet to be announced."
The Centre also recently welcomed a new Kikki K concept store and will soon be home to leading brand Inglot, a newly designed Shingle Inn and an expanded Oroton store.
The redevelopment has expanded the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre from 86,780 square metres of gross lettable retail space, to 115,000 square metres. The number of retail outlets has risen from 220 to over 330, with the Centre retaining 85 per cent of its original retailers and attracting 141 new brands.
The high-end quality of the redevelopment has attracted leading fashion labels from around the globe with its fashion retail configuration representing over 40 per cent of the Centre's specialty stores.
The redeveloped Centre also includes a range of highly respected restaurants, cafes and fresh food venues, with food retailers increasing by more than 80 per cent compared to the number of food outlets prior to the redevelopment.
"Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has very quickly emerged as an alternative shopping venue to the high end retail areas of the inner city," Leah said.
"We have become a shopping destination where customers can enjoy a retail experience not available anywhere else in Brisbane."
The One The Only Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, located in Brisbane's affluent Western suburbs, is home to over 330 specialty stores, major retailers and premium dining outlets, and is dedicated to providing customers with a unique and enjoyable shopping and dining experience.
