“H&M’s arrival at Eastland demonstrates the strength of the development and the interest it’s attracting from global retail brands,” SAID Steve Edgerton, Centre Manager of the new Eastland.
Once completed, Eastland’s $665m transformation will offer 131,000sqm of retail space and more than 350 specialty stores, creating one of Melbourne’s most progressive urban communities.
“It will be more than just a place to shop. It will be a world-class destination where people can enjoy premium personalised services such as valet, concierge, dining, entertainment and social experiences,” concluded Mr Edgerton.
With over 3,600 stores in 59 markets worldwide, H&M will launch alongside some of the most exciting names in International and Australian fashion, with further partners to be announced in the coming weeks.
The new Eastland is designed to create engaging experiences for a vibrant and evolving community, bringing together the finest in contemporary gastronomy, fashion, style and design.
The first H&M store opened in Melbourne’s iconic GPO building in April 2014, attracting more than 15,000 customers on its first day, with an average wait time of two hours to enter the store.
