Nicole Pollard, Jodi Anasta and Kate Waterhouse are just some of the Australian fashion names to be hosting the launch of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre’s Chase the Sun Fashion Showcase from September 3rd to September 5th.
Brisbane born and internationally successful model, Nicole Pollard, will be swapping the Christian Dior and Givenchy runways to showcase Spring/Summer collections on the Indooroopilly catwalk on September 3rd, her first Brisbane show since her global runway success.
Style icon, Jodi Anasta, will feature her key must-have looks for the new season in a Fashion Edit on Friday 4th September at 11am, followed by fashion shows presenting key trends for the season.
On September 5th, successful blogger Kate Waterhouse will overtake Indooroopilly Shopping Centre’s social media accounts, and will co-host and style two runway shows, one at 11am and the second at 12.30pm, featuring Australian and international designs.
Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Stylist, Laura Churchill, believes trends for Spring/Summer 2015 will be vibrant and fresh; with orange, khaki and white lace being key aesthetics for the season.
“The 1970s is the overwhelming decade of influence this Spring Summer with flared pants and jeans making a comeback alongside 70s inspired accessories,” said Churchill.
This 1970s influence will also be translated into accessories, with platform shoes, fringed bags and aviator-styled sunglasses being popular.
Indooroopilly Shopping Centre proves to be the perfect location for the Chase the Sun Fashion Showcase, thanks to the opening of Australian and international high-end designer stores within the centre in 2014, including the state’s first H&M store.
The Chase the Sun Fashion Showcase will be held under the chandelier on Level 2, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre from 6pm, Thursday 3rd of September.
