This special fundraising dinner and live performance will feature Wild Things Run, one of Australia’s most beloved acoustic trios, renowned for their rich harmonies and heartfelt interpretations of timeless classics from the golden era of Laurel Canyon.
Guests will be welcomed from 6 pm with a complimentary drink on arrival, followed by a relaxed two-course dinner before the live show begins at 8 pm. Set against the warm, community-focused atmosphere of Coledale RSL, the evening promises exceptional food, great company, and music that resonates deeply across generations.
A Tribute to Laurel Canyon’s Golden Sound

Wild Things Run — brothers Pat and Andy O’Donnell, joined by Kellie O’Donnell — are celebrated for their acclaimed show The Road to Laurel Canyon. Their performances capture the soul of an iconic musical era through impeccable vocal harmonies and emotional authenticity.
Audiences can expect beautifully crafted renditions of songs by Joni Mitchell, The Eagles, Carole King, James Taylor, and other legendary artists who defined the sound of the late 1960s and 1970s. At the heart of Wild Things Run is a simple yet powerful idea: three voices coming together to share the music they love — and inviting audiences to feel every note.

Music With a Mission

Beyond the music, this event supports a deeply meaningful cause.
In August 2021, Dave Winner’s life was saved by bystanders trained in CPR after he was submerged while surfing. That life-changing moment inspired the creation of the Dave Winner Foundation, an organisation dedicated to ensuring every Australian has access to free, life-saving CPR training.
Proceeds from the evening will help fund the development of an innovative CPR training app, designed to make training accessible to anyone, anywhere. The Foundation’s ambitious goal is to empower one million Australians with CPR skills by 2030, giving everyday people the confidence to act in an emergency.
“I’m deeply grateful for the people who saved my life, and I want every Australian to have the confidence to act in an emergency. This event is about music, community, and giving everyone the chance to save a life.”
— Dave Winner
