So, there’s a high possibility that Sex and the City will be returning to our TV screens and we must admit we’re finding it hard to hold on to our cosmos!
While the new season isn’t a definite yes, Sarah Jessica Parker (aka Carrie Bradshaw) hinted in an interview with PA that there may be plans in the works for our all-time fave show to return to television.
“I don’t think any of us have said no. I don’t know whether it’s a series of a movie...I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved. I think that's always a possibility, definitely," said Parker.
Series, movie we don’t care as long as we get our SATC fix!
And Sarah Jessica Parker isn’t the only one to allude to the series reboot, with Willie Garson (Standfor Blatch) stating in an interview with Digital Spy that no one would say no if they were offered it.
“I know that Sarah (Jessica Parker) and Michael (Patrick King – Director) had at one point had an idea for a story, but we honestly don't know... I would make a hundred of them. I'll be in a walker with a broken hip! But I would keep going," stated Garson.
But what is the secret to the original #GirlSquad being relevant today 20 years on?
"People don't know while they're watching it (that it’s 20 years on), because they're focusing on the fancy clothes, and the jokes, and the crazy situations, but really what it's about is human connection... it makes every single person think, 'Oh, I know someone like that,' or, 'That one represents me,' and that's universal — male or female, young or old,” said Garson.
Yep, who needs more evidence that fashion is life changing?
We must admit that while we’re always trying to convincing our girlfriends that we’re like Samantha, the majority of the time we’re likened to Charlotte.
Please TV gods let this news come true!
