Kylie Jenner and mumager Kris have just announced the youngest KarJenner’s next venture: a docu-series entitled Life of Kylie that, you guessed it, follows the reality star in her day-to-day life. When we first heard about it, we had some thoughts. They range from excitement to confusion. So here are the 7 thoughts we had when we found out about Life of Kylie.
OMG, yay! More Kylie!
Let’s face it, there’s something weirdly obsessive about how devotedly we keep up with Kylie’s app, Snapchat, Insta and new makeup drops (how can you NOT want all of her Kylighters?!). We can’t seem to get enough, so naturally our initial reaction was excitement.
Wait...isn’t one reality show enough?
Sure, she’s not the first of the family to have her own spin-off show, but we can’t help wondering how one person could need TWO shows following their life.
How is this going to work?
Is Kylie going to disappear from KUWTK and only be on her show? Will her family have much screen time in Life of Kylie? Will she be donning Snapchat filters on screen? (Okay, that last part is just wishful thinking...)
How do we get our own Life of show?
We rock a matte lip and take a lot of selfies, too. When will we get our own docu-series? We’re totally ready to be mega-famous and have people think tracksuits are cool just because we wear them to buy milk.
Is Kylie cutting family ties?
Not in a family feud way of course – these are some seriously close sisters and mother. But does Ky’s new venture mean she’s looking to shed the family influence somewhat and move out into developing her solo brand separately?
Will King Ky pull back on social media?
To avoid repeating information, will Kylie reduce her social media presence for the duration of the docu-series? We’re interested to see how the savvy young girlboss strikes a balance!
When can we watch????
Whatever we thought initially, we are SO ready for Life of Kylie to grace our screens. We may even have a little at-home viewing party of the pilot episode, complete with Kylie Jenner Shop merch and lip kits galore!
