With every 125mL Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment, you will get a 10mL trial size skin serum for free. This means that not only will your loved ones' hair benefit from the wonders of Moroccan Oil, but so too will their skin!

Seven Wonders Moroccan Argan Oil produces luscious looking, healthy hair without the salon price and fuss. Unlike other oils on the market, the Seven Wonders range uses only organic Argan Oil and is free from harsh chemicals such as paraben and harsh preservatives.

It has been known to help with acne, eczema, psoriasis and skin irritations by keeping the skin's natural oil levels balanced.

Brimming with natural ingredients, the lip butters are also flavoured to match the tints, making them as yummy to use as they are to look at.

A daily skincare routine is part of my lifestyle. It feels like I have tried every possible product on the market place and it wasn't until early this year did I learn about the harsh chemicals that are put into products and how damaging it can be in the long term.

As you probably know, "natural skincare" is the latest buzzword in the beauty industry right, but a closer look at the labels and many products are touting the use of natural ingredients which reveals that many still contain synthetic chemicals and artificial elements.

Paul Mitchell Summer Essentials Review

 Paul Mitchell Summer Essentials

At some point in time, we have all secretly envied and maybe even resented Blake Lively for her abundance of long, healthy blonde locks. Wishing out loud to be blessed by the hair god's is time poorly spent. Instead, invest in some TLC for your tresses with the Paul Mitchell summer essentials range. Presenting to you my top three favourites in hair care.

Paul1

With a history of being a young hair model, my hair has endured many years of harsh chemicals, bleaching, teasing, hairspray buildup and long-term extensions, leaving my fine blonde hair in a dry and damaged state. I am always very skeptical about products that include the word moisture in their description, as my experience tells me that what I am about to distribute in my hair is nothing more than an artificial band-aid, which will mask the problem for a day. Almost as if an answer to my hair prayers, I was introduced to my newly acquired best friends, Instant Moisture Daily Shampoo and Instant Moisture Daily Treatment, from the Paul Mitchell summer essentials range.

Tan Back Time

Tan Back Time: The Latest Anti-Aging Tanners

Bronze1

There’s no denying the beauty of a perfect tan, but at the cost of premature aging and dry skin there is definitely a price to pay. Katrina Brown, founder of The Bronzing Boutique, Double Bay, has the solution for that bronzed glow, minus the wrinkles.

With celebrity clientele including Janice Dickinson, Lindsay Lohan, Sophie Monk and more locally Delta Goodrem, Charlotte Dawson and Sass and Bide founder Sarah Jane, Brown has earned a reputation as a tanner to the stars.

Excessive sun exposure causes premature wrinkles, pigmentation, sun spots and dry skin, all of which speed up the process of aging drastically.

This month we have hand picked three must have beauty products that will have you prepped and ready for the warmer weather ahead. Are you ready?

Stella L.I.L.Y

Stella McCartney’s latest fragrance is practically a must have this spring. It is described as ‘beginning with the smell of a spring morning, dappled sunlight through the trees and a vision of delicate lily of the valley.’

L.I.L.Y was named after her famous father’s nickname for her mum - Linda, I Love You. The lily of the valley note is feminine and sensual, yet there is a touch of moss and truffles, bringing in a masculine edge.

Any perfume addict is sure to add this fluttery fresh scent to their collection, even if it’s only for the to-die for bottle. Inspired by antique cut-glass crystal vases and painting frames it’s pretty enough to use solely for decorative purposes.

Tribute to the Young and the Fabulous

Tribute to the Young and the Fabulous

The young, fresh faces of Hollywood’s new age talent have always dominated the world of style, from Blake Lively’s red carpet glamour to Mary-Kate and Ashley’s street style trends. This season we at Fashion Weekly would like to pay tribute to the young and the fabulous, as we deconstruct beauty trends of four ultimate fashionistas, so you too can recreate your inner superstar.

Tribute1

Lauren Conrad

The reality TV personality, designer and novelist is first and foremost a fashion icon and always known for her impeccable beauty regime. With such an abundance of natural beauty, Lauren subtly draws emphasis to her eyes and lips without going OTT.

Base: Focusing on a natural base, Lauren’s foundation comprises of a medium coverage with a matte finish. To achieve this, start with a lightweight primer to prep the skin for a smooth application. Remove blemishes, dark circles and fine lines with a concealer pen or palette. Apply dabs of foundation to the forehead, chin and cheeks and blend upwards using a sponge or brush. Seal foundation into place using a matte powder that offers minimal shine. Our recommendations include Napoleon’s Camera Finish powder and China Doll Foundation.

Pastel Playtime

Pastel Playtime

Showcase your feminine side this spring by embracing soft, candy-coloured hues, otherwise known as pastels. Drawing inspiration from natures colour palette with lavender, rose, mint green and apricot making a feature this season. Not just limited to the eyes, pastels are becoming a signature for lips, nails and even hair. Learn how you can be mistaken for a sugar queen with our guide to a pastel makeover.

PastelP1

Lips

Draw attention to your most flirty facial feature with a pastel pout this spring. Kiss winter’s conventional colours like red and crimson goodbye and instead be recognised as the girl with the baby blue lips. Limecrime offers a world of cosmetic candy, known for their pastel products. With playful shades and opaque coverage, your lips will look and feel so delicious it will throw Katy Perry into a spin.

Do you have a soft spot for spearmint? Limecrime’s MINT TO BE shade will have you feeling minty fresh on a warm spring day. Other favourites from the same range include D’LILAC lavender lilac opaque, NO SHE DIDN’T opaque blue and GREAT PINK PLANET pastel opaque shades.

Spring Hairspiration

Spring Hairspiration

As the beauty industry continues to spark innovative trends at New York Fashion Week S/S 2013, hair takes an interesting turn, reviving favourite trends from earlier eras. Embracing this newfound juxtaposition will involve putting a new spin on an iconic style. Think volume, crimping and much to my excitement the 80’s!

The Textured Low Pony
HairS1
Guido Palau, hair-expert and key stylist of NYFW has recently drawn new light on perhaps one of the most widespread hairstyles to date, the ponytail. Abandoning the key trend of the center part, the secret to the new age ponytail according to Guido Palau, is a deep, left side parting, containing height and volume at the crown.  Hair is then drawn to the nape of the neck for a low ponytail. Keeping in the fashion of a volumised do, the hair is then backcombed to create a teased and textured ponytail.

Style Tip:
A tail comb is the optimal tool for achieving volume, as the fine toothing of the comb makes backcombing easy. To enhance results, spritz roots with a lift finishing spray. Guido Palau recommends Redkin Quick Tease 15 Backcombing Lift Finishing Spray. Dramatised Eyes

Dramatised Eyes

Drama11

It is time to be reacquainted with the colour wheel. Put away those smokey palettes and get ready to add some drama to those peepers! Bright eyes are a trend that emerged from the New York Fashion Week S/S 2013, where a sudden favour of bright colours brushed across the eyelid as seen. Introducing the top four trends dedicated to enhancing bright eyes this spring.

Fuchsia framing

Donna Karan’s spring collection featured an eccentric and yet feminine trend of fuchsia-pink eyeliner framing the eyes and teamed with the matching shade of mascara.

Beauty Tip

The key to perfecting this look is to avoid clean, neat lines and instead roughly outline the upper and lower lash line with thick, heavy strokes. Best achieved with pencil rather than liquid eyeliner, you can smudge the outline for a grungier look.

Trends for Autumn / Winter 2012

By Alana Bortic

Winter is coming up on the horizon and it's time to say good-bye to our sun-kissed faces and say hello to the new make-up trends for Autumn/Winter 2012.

Luckily for us, the designers who set the trends, and who we worship through good times and bad, have given us a bit of variety, including some simple trends to follow this season.

Bleached Brows & Bold Red Lips:

It has become a regular occurrence on and off the runway, but this look is classic and sophisticated, yet sexy – meaning, it pretty much works with everything.

From the deep burgundy lips of Gucci, to the tomato red of Marc by Marc Jacobs, red lips are here to stay. And who says we're complaining?
