Thank you for your interest in publishing with Fashion Weekly.
We welcome guest articles, sponsored content, brand features and other promotional submissions relevant to our Australian fashion, beauty and lifestyle audience.
These guidelines explain how to prepare your content, what information to provide and how our editorial review and publication process works.
All submissions are subject to editorial approval.
1. Topics We Accept
Fashion Weekly publishes content covering fashion, beauty, lifestyle and related subjects that are relevant and useful to our readers.
Suitable topics may include:
- Fashion trends, styling advice and wardrobe inspiration.
- Australian and international fashion designers and brands.
- Beauty, skincare, makeup, haircare and wellness.
- Jewellery, accessories and personal style.
- Lifestyle, travel, home, events and entertainment.
- Relationships, personal development and contemporary living.
- Shopping guides, gift ideas and relevant product features.
- Other topics that complement Fashion Weekly's editorial categories.
Articles should be written for readers rather than solely for search engines.
We generally do not accept unrelated content, misleading promotional claims, excessive keyword optimisation or articles promoting unsuitable or unlawful products and services.
2. Article Requirements
Recommended Word Count
We generally recommend articles between 600 and 1,500 words.
Shorter or longer articles may be considered where the subject and editorial quality justify the length.
Writing and Formatting
Please ensure your article:
- Has a clear, engaging and relevant headline.
- Includes an informative introduction and well-structured paragraphs.
- Uses descriptive subheadings where appropriate.
- Provides genuine value to readers.
- Is original or appropriately licensed for publication.
- Has been checked for spelling, grammar and factual accuracy.
- Does not contain excessive promotional language or keyword stuffing.
- Includes sources for important factual, medical or other specialist claims where appropriate.
AI-Assisted Articles
AI-assisted content may be submitted, provided it has been carefully reviewed and edited for accuracy, originality, readability and relevance.
Fashion Weekly may decline articles that are repetitive, generic, misleading, inaccurate or substantially unoriginal.
Previously Published Content
Please disclose whether your article has previously appeared on another website or publication.
We generally prefer original content and may decline duplicate or substantially republished articles.
3. Links and Anchor Text
Relevant links may be included in guest posts and sponsored articles, subject to editorial review and the inclusions of the selected advertising package.
When submitting links, please provide:
- The full destination URL.
- Your preferred anchor text, if applicable.
- Any relevant context explaining how the link supports the article.
Links must fit naturally within the content and direct readers to relevant, appropriate websites.
Fashion Weekly may edit anchor text, decline unsuitable destinations or remove excessive or irrelevant links.
Link Attributes
Links included as part of paid guest posts, sponsored articles or other promotional arrangements are qualified using rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow" in accordance with search engine guidelines.
Independent editorial links unrelated to a paid arrangement may use standard followed links at Fashion Weekly's discretion.
We do not guarantee do-follow links, search engine rankings or SEO outcomes for paid placements.
4. Images and Supporting Materials
Images help make articles more engaging and suitable for Fashion Weekly's editorial presentation.
Featured Image
Where possible, please provide a high-quality landscape image suitable for use as the article's featured image.
Our preferred featured image dimensions are 1200 × 800 pixels.
Additional Images
Additional images may be supplied where they add value to the article, such as product photographs, fashion imagery, styling examples or relevant supporting visuals.
Please ensure that:
- Images are clear, high quality and relevant to the article.
- Files are supplied in JPG, PNG or another approved format.
- You have permission to use and provide the images for publication.
- Required photographer, brand or copyright credits are included.
- Images do not contain unauthorised watermarks or third-party branding.
Fashion Weekly may crop, resize, optimise or decline images to suit website presentation and performance requirements.
If you cannot provide suitable images, please indicate this in your submission. We can discuss available options.
