Fashion Weekly welcomes advertising, guest articles, sponsored content and promotional partnerships relevant to our fashion, beauty and lifestyle audience.
These terms explain our advertising requirements, editorial standards, publication process and commercial conditions. Please review them before submitting content or purchasing an advertising service.
Last updated: October 2026
1. General Advertising Conditions
These Advertising Terms and Conditions apply to advertising and promotional services offered by Fashion Weekly, including guest posts, sponsored articles, banner advertisements, product reviews, giveaways and other agreed promotional activities.
By placing an advertising order, submitting content for a paid placement or accepting an advertising proposal, the advertiser agrees to these terms and any additional conditions expressly stated in the applicable product description or written agreement.
Fashion Weekly reserves the right to accept, decline or request changes to advertising materials based on editorial suitability, technical requirements, legal considerations and the interests of our audience.
Fashion Weekly does not accept content promoting unlawful activities, misleading products or services, deceptive claims or material that is otherwise unsuitable for publication.
Acceptance of payment does not automatically constitute editorial approval of submitted content.
3. Guest Posts and Sponsored Articles
3.1 Content Requirements
Fashion Weekly accepts guest posts and sponsored articles relevant to fashion, beauty, lifestyle and other topics suitable for our readership.
Our recommended article length is between 600 and 1,500 words. Articles outside this range may be considered where appropriate.
Submitted content must:
- Be original or appropriately licensed for publication.
- Provide useful, accurate and relevant information.
- Be professionally written and reasonably free from spelling and grammatical errors.
- Avoid excessive promotional language, keyword stuffing and misleading claims.
- Comply with applicable laws, copyright requirements and advertising standards.
- Include appropriate sources or substantiation for factual claims where requested.
- Be suitable for Fashion Weekly's audience and editorial categories.
3.2 AI-Assisted Content
AI-assisted articles may be considered where the advertiser has reviewed the content for originality, accuracy, relevance and overall quality.
Fashion Weekly may decline content that is inaccurate, repetitive, misleading, substantially unoriginal or otherwise unsuitable, regardless of how it was created.
3.3 Article Submissions
Advertisers may submit a proposed article or content brief using the Fashion Weekly advertiser submission process.
Google Docs and Google Drive links may be accepted, provided appropriate viewing permissions have been granted.
Where Fashion Weekly has been engaged to write an article, the advertiser must supply a suitable brief, relevant business information and any necessary supporting materials.
3.4 Editorial Changes
Fashion Weekly may make reasonable changes to article titles, headings, formatting, grammar, images, links and presentation to maintain editorial quality and website consistency.
Substantial changes affecting the intended meaning of the content may be referred to the advertiser for review.
Fashion Weekly retains final editorial control over published content.
4. Links and Advertising Disclosures
4.1 Links Within Articles
Guest posts and sponsored articles may include relevant links to an advertiser's website, products, services or other suitable online resources, subject to the inclusions of the purchased package and editorial approval.
Links must be relevant to the article, fit naturally within the content and provide appropriate value or context for readers.
Fashion Weekly reserves the right to amend anchor text, reject unsuitable destinations or remove excessive, misleading or irrelevant links.
4.2 Paid Promotional Links
Links included as part of a paid guest post, sponsored article or other commercial promotional arrangement will be appropriately qualified using rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", in accordance with applicable search engine guidelines.
Independent editorial links that are not part of a paid or compensated arrangement may use standard followed links at Fashion Weekly's editorial discretion.
The classification of a link is determined by the nature of the arrangement, not solely by whether the article is described as a guest post or sponsored article.
4.3 Advertising Disclosures
Paid promotional content will be identified with an appropriate disclosure where required by applicable law, advertising standards or editorial policy.
Fashion Weekly determines the wording, presentation and placement of advertising disclosures.
4.4 Search Engine Performance
Fashion Weekly does not guarantee that advertising placements or published links will improve search engine rankings, domain authority, website traffic, enquiries or sales.
Advertisers acknowledge that search engines independently determine how links and published content are assessed.
5. Product Reviews
Product review opportunities are subject to editorial approval and availability.
Advertisers must provide accurate product information, supporting materials and any samples or access reasonably required for the agreed review.
Unless otherwise agreed, advertisers are responsible for the costs associated with supplying and delivering products for review.
Payment, sponsorship or the provision of a complimentary product does not guarantee a positive review, endorsement or recommendation.
Fashion Weekly retains editorial independence and may disclose commercial or gifted-product relationships where required.
Arrangements for returning review products, where applicable, must be agreed before products are supplied.
6. Giveaways and Promotions
Fashion Weekly may consider competitions, giveaways and other promotional campaigns that are relevant to its audience.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the advertiser or prize provider is responsible for:
- Providing accurate prize descriptions and eligibility information.
- Ensuring advertised prizes are available.
- Supplying and delivering prizes to eligible recipients.
- Disclosing relevant restrictions, expiry dates and conditions.
- Complying with applicable competition, trade promotion and consumer protection requirements.
The parties must agree on responsibility for competition administration, winner selection, notifications and any required permits before a promotion commences.
Fashion Weekly may decline, postpone or discontinue a promotion where legal, editorial, technical or operational concerns arise, subject to applicable law and any agreed contractual obligations.
7. Editorial Approval and Publication
7.1 Editorial Review
All guest posts, sponsored articles and other editorial content are subject to Fashion Weekly's review and approval before publication.
Fashion Weekly may approve a submission, request revisions or decline content that does not meet its editorial standards.
7.2 Approval Before Payment
New advertisers are encouraged to submit their proposed content for editorial approval before purchasing a placement.
Existing registered advertisers may continue placing orders directly through the Fashion Weekly Advertiser Dashboard. However, publication remains subject to editorial approval.
7.3 Publication Timeframes
Once content has been approved and payment requirements have been met, articles are typically published by the end of the next Australian business day.
This is an estimated turnaround time and may vary depending on editorial workload, scheduling, technical requirements, public holidays or other circumstances.
Fashion Weekly does not guarantee a specific publication date unless expressly agreed in writing.
8. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
8.1 Advertising Prices
Current prices, package inclusions and available advertising options are set out in the applicable Fashion Weekly rate card, advertising product description or written quotation.
Any applicable taxes, currency information and additional charges will be disclosed as required during the purchasing process.
8.2 Payment Methods
Available payment methods may include PayPal and Wise, subject to availability and the requirements of the relevant checkout or payment arrangement.
Advertising services may be withheld until payment has been received or confirmed.
8.3 Cancellations and Refunds
Advertising purchases are generally non-refundable for change of mind, cancellation by the advertiser or failure to supply suitable materials, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Fashion Weekly.
If Fashion Weekly declines to publish submitted content and no acceptable alternative is agreed, the advertiser will be offered a refund for the unpublished placement.
Where content does not initially meet editorial requirements, Fashion Weekly may request reasonable revisions before making a final decision.
Refunds or other remedies required under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation will be provided regardless of the general no-refunds policy.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
9. Content Ownership and Licensing
Advertisers retain ownership of original content and materials they own, subject to any separate written agreement.
By submitting content for publication, advertisers grant Fashion Weekly a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, publish, display, format and promote the approved content in connection with the agreed placement.
This licence includes reasonable use of article headlines, excerpts and approved accompanying images in website listings, newsletters, social media posts and other promotional references to the published article.
Advertisers warrant that they have the necessary copyright, trademark, image and other permissions to authorise the intended use of submitted materials.
Content created by Fashion Weekly remains subject to the ownership and licensing arrangements of the purchased service or any separate written agreement.
Fashion Weekly may remove or replace materials where credible copyright, ownership or permission concerns arise.
10. Publication Duration and Removal
10.1 Article Availability
Published articles are intended to remain available on the Fashion Weekly website indefinitely.
However, permanent publication cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances.
10.2 Link Duration
Approved paid promotional links are generally maintained for a minimum of 12 months from the original publication date, subject to legal, editorial, security and applicable website policy requirements.
This commitment relates to the continued availability of approved links and does not guarantee any particular search engine link attribute, ranking treatment or SEO benefit.
10.3 Content Removal or Amendment
Fashion Weekly may amend, restrict or remove published content or links where reasonably necessary due to:
- Legal requirements or regulatory concerns.
- Copyright or intellectual property disputes.
- Materially inaccurate or misleading information.
- Unsafe, unlawful or unsuitable linked websites.
- Security incidents or technical issues.
- Search engine policy concerns.
- Other significant editorial or reputational concerns.
Where practicable, Fashion Weekly may contact the advertiser regarding material changes or removal, although immediate action may be necessary in some circumstances.
10.4 Search Engine Indexing
Published articles are generally made accessible to search engines and may be submitted for indexing as part of Fashion Weekly's publishing process.
Search engine indexing, continued inclusion in search results and ranking positions are determined independently by search engines and cannot be guaranteed.
11. Advertiser Responsibilities
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that supplied information, content, claims, links and promotional materials are accurate, lawful and suitable for publication.
Advertisers must not submit material that infringes third-party rights or contains misleading representations.
Advertisers must provide information and materials reasonably requested to enable Fashion Weekly to assess and deliver the purchased service.
Delays caused by incomplete information, inaccessible documents, unsuitable artwork or outstanding revisions may affect publication or campaign commencement dates.
12. General Terms
12.1 Changes to Services and Terms
Fashion Weekly may update its advertising offerings, technical requirements and these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Changes will not retrospectively override expressly agreed conditions for existing orders or remove statutory rights.
12.2 Service Availability
Fashion Weekly takes reasonable steps to maintain website availability and advertising services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or operation.
Any remedies for service failures remain subject to the applicable purchase agreement and rights available under law.
12.3 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fashion Weekly is not responsible for indirect or consequential commercial losses arising solely from an advertiser's expectations regarding traffic, rankings, leads, sales or other results not expressly guaranteed as part of the purchased service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability or remedies where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
12.4 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory laws or rights that apply to the advertiser.
