Are you excited to be walking for Gail Sorronda as glamour returns to Treasury Brisbane on Thursday 12 July with the launch of ICON - Brisbane’s newest fashion series?

DQ: I am very excited to be supporting Gail upon the launch of ICON and most proud to walk with her. It was serendipity that we met in 2002 when Gail was selling what has proven to be her signature accessories, whilst studying fashion design at QUT.

From that moment I realised that she had a unique aesthetic and so I followed her career with interest, commissioning my daughter's formal dress in 2005 which formed the basis of her graduate collection that year.

Consequently I bought a considerable part of Gail's Graduate Collection and have continued to collect her work extensively from every season that she has produced.

Do you know what pieces you’ll be wearing by Gail Sorronda?

DQ: That is to be revealed on the night!

Tiffany & Co. jewellery will be completing all the looks for the runway show. Do you know what you’ll be adorned in?

DQ: Again we will see on the night, but there is no outfit that a piece of Tiffany jewellery could not complement.

You’re well known for your extensive collection of fabulous millinery, will you be wearing a hat for your Gail Sorronda look?

DQ: Of course! Millinery is part of my persona and every day I wear a hat to set my mood and complement my outfit. A hat is the icing on the cake.

In your own words, why should our Fashion Weekly readers purchase a ticket to this stylish affair?

DQ: What a memorable evening of inspirational design setting the trends for the summer ahead!
