We have the wrap up on the hottest looks from the opening night of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane 2017.

Brisbane fashion lovers joined together on Monday August 28 to celebrate the highly anticipated return of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane 2017. Guests were treated to a spectacular evening of fashion and glamour for the Pacific Fair Fashion Show at the historic Old Government House in QUT Campus Gardens Point.

For an Australian first, designs by major international label Tom Ford and retailer Harrolds strutted their new season looks down the runway.

Harrolds’ luxury designer collections were joined by Aje, Alice McCall, Búl, Camilla, Christian Louboutin, David Jones, Dion Lee, Flannel, Ginger & Smart, Incu, Maje, Manning Cartell, Megan Park, Myer, Sandro Paris and Scanlan Theodore, creating a major show for the fashion obsessed as Pacific Fair joined Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane as a partner for the first time.

We have the wrap up on our top 5 favourite collections.

Alice McCall

Alice McCall's collection featured playful and cheeky silhouettes. To our surprise, mustard was the dominating colour and ruffles came to take centre stage. The playsuits were quite short, but the designs are fun and whimsical, which are sure to be a favourite this summer.

Camilla

There is something about Camilla that always grabs the audience's attention. Staying true to her signature aesthetic, the collection starred bold and colourful prints. Blues in different hues seemed to be the strong link between the designs as playsuits, kaftans, swimwear and ready-to-wear dresses had guests swooning with excitement.

Dion Lee

Dion Lee's new season looks were clearly influenced by the 80s. Nodding to the past era, the powersuit and colour pallete of cobalt and deep emerald green were modernised with a twist.

Scanlan Theodore

Scanlan Theodore gave us a seductable preview of their pastel pink and vampy red dresses in an array of silhouettes. Featuring lace, jersey, ruffles, pleats, strapless and asymmetrical designs - it truly is the perfect range for an Australian spring summer in 2017.

Harrolds

We have the wrap up on the hottest looks from the opening night of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane 2017.

This was the highlight of the evening. Harrolds gave us a taste of what's to come this Spring Summer 2017 and I can assure, it's hot! They sent down the runway some of the sexiest and most covetable looks of the season. From purple tights, to purple fur and the most glitzy, golden sequins, figure hugging dress we have ever layed eyes upon. Simply put, they stole and closed the show.
